Remembering Dad

One hundred years ago on August 13, 1910 my dad, Harold Deems Cary, was born in Madison County, Ohio. The youngest of four children, his family moved to Boulder, Colorado where Dad graduated from the University of Colorado School of Business. He worked for Procter & Gamble before he married my mother, Virginia Whelan, on May 2, 1939. He worked in his brother's furniture store before opening his own store, Harold's Furniture. His life was cut short on January 10, 1975, at the age of 64.
